Adult Supportive Home Care

Services include: Assistance with light housekeeping; running errands; & transporting to appointments.
Service timing depends on client's needs, desires, and staff availability.

Adult Activities of Daily Living

Workers are trained to establish and maintain good personal hygiene for their clients. Care is provided under a written agreement with each family.
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) may include:

Shower/bath with maintenance of safety
Assistance with washing hair and related hair care
Special meal preparation and assistance with eating
Assistance with dressing, non-medical skin and nail care
Maintaining cleanliness of the bathroom and kitchen
Assistance with mobility or exercises

Each ADL worker receives specific instruction relative to each individual client served.

Kelie Block is the Supportive Home Care/Activities of Daily Living Coordinator, and has been with COI since 1989. She manages the day to day operations of the program, sets the schedules for care, and arranges the monthly in-service training for her staff. Kelie also works in the field with a wide variety of clients of all ages and disabilities.
